Herbicide Trials

The Renz Lab conducts herbicide field trials with the goal of improving management outcomes in natural areas, pollinator plantings, pastures, and perennial crops. These trials study new ways of minimizing injury to desired vegetation, maximizing injury to targeted vegetation, reducing the spread of terrestrial invasive plant species, and reducing time to successful establishment of desired vegetation.

The results of these trials are published here in a trial-by-trial format. They are intended to help farmers, restoration ecologists, landowners, and researchers stay up to date on the latest and most effective herbicides for their land management goals.
