Certification — Invasive Plant Identification
How to use the Resources page to prepare for the certification test
On the Resources page, we recommend that you review materials for each species and pay particular attention to key features that allow for identification and differentiation from look-alike species in Wisconsin. As the certification test covers 114 species, we suggest:
- reviewing one group of plants at a time
- accessing species descriptions and Species Summary Table for each of the 15 plant groups by clicking on the buttons at the bottom of the Resources page
- reviewing the Species Summary Tables to help distinguish species within the same group
- getting to know non-invasive look alike species addressed in the Resources Tables
- If you wish to browse all 114 species in the same location, you can use the Master Resource Table
